Kevin Turner is a senior consultant urologist based at Royal Bournemouth Hospital and practising privately at the Bournemouth Nuffield Hospital

He is able to provide expert opinion on a wide range of urological conditions. He has a number of national roles within the specialty of Urology, but providing first-class patient-focussed care remains his core motivation as a doctor.

Kevin Turner has particular interest and expertise in the following conditions:

  • Raised PSA (prostate blood test)
  • Urinary symptoms – poor stream, urinary urgency, nocturia (passing urine at night)
  • Blood in the urine (haematuria)
  • Prostate cancer

  • Foreskin problems
  • Scrotal / testicular swellings
  • Urinary tract infection
  • Incontinence
  • Prostatitis (painful inflammation of the prostate)

What to expect at your first outpatient appointment

For most new patients it is necessary to be referred by your GP. There may be occasions when this is not absolutely necessary or where an appointment with Mr Turner can be arranged before your GP has had an opportunity to make a referral.
